  2. About the Position Join Dr. Wanli Xing's AICE lab at University of Florida as a postdoctoral researcher and immerse yourself in cutting-edge interdisciplinary research. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to engage in rich interdisciplinary research, encompassing both research and grant writing. The candidate will focus on bridging educational theory and practice, with a specific emphasis on enhancing AI-driven learning experiences in STEM education. Specifically, the candidate's role will include conceptualizing AI-powered learning environments, analyzing student cognition and learning, and disseminating these state-of-the-art findings in top-tier educational conferences and journals. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to crafting grant proposals for various funding sources, with the potential to take on a key personnel role.

    Duration : 2 years, with the possibility of extension

    Qualifications:


    • PhD in Learning Sciences, Educational Psychology, Educational Technology or a closely related field.
    • Proven track record of publications in reputed conferences and journals.
    • Experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing empirical research in educational settings.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience with AI-powered learning environments and educational tools (preferred but not required).

    Key responsibilities:


    • Conduct high-quality research in the field of Learning Sciences, focusing on areas such as cognitive processes in learning, educational technology, and educational psychology.
    • Analyze educational data using qualitative and quantitative research methods.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, psychologists, data scientists, and technologists.
    • Assist in writing research proposals and securing funding for future projects.
    • Present research findings at conferences and workshops.
